Ron is the founder and Cole Bishop's managing partner.  

Ron has deep and diversified experience working with closely held businesses, their owners and families. His broad background and “get it done” attitude makes Ron a valuable asset for Cole Bishop  clients.

Although he possesses a wide range of expertise, Ron's gift lies in his ability to see the “big picture,” and to assemble the diverse elements of an organization’s financial structure into an actionable plan. He combines strong technical accounting skills with a practical approach based on common sense and business savvy.  Ron has been an integral part of the firm’s efforts in serving clients in industries as diverse as energy, and petroleum, technology and life sciences.  Ron has established and curated relationships with both domestic and cross-boarder investment groups collecting expertise and industry credibility.  

Ron is a seasoned multi-skilled commercial and government contract manager with significant experience in drafting nonstandard contracts and proposing, negotiating, and administering strategic commercial contracts.  Ron has experience in all phases of contract management with multiple contract types.  Ron has an extensive knowledge of FAR, DFAR and ITAR which provides his clients a broad advantage in negotiating with the government and its agencies.

Ron is a native Washingtonian, graduated from the University of Maryland, received his JD from Howard University Law School and received his masters of law in dispute resolution from the George Washington University Law School.
